St. Davids: A Quaint and Charming Pennsylvania Community

Considered an unincorporated community within Radnor Township in Pennsylvania’s Delaware County, St. Davids is certainly distinctive in its own right!.

After all, this community boasts its own train station and also happens to be the home of the main campus for Eastern University.

If you’re interested in living in a quaint community that is still close to the hustle and bustle of the big city, you should check out St. Davids, PA.

A Little Background on This PA Community

This community, which is located on the Pennsylvania Main Line, was originally named for St. Davids Church.

This church , which was named for the patron saint of Wales, is considered the first Episcopal Church in American. It was built in 1715 by the Welsh who settled in the area.

This community, which doesn’t have an apostrophe in its name, is located about 15 miles from Philadelphia, near Interstate 476.

Although St. Davids’ population was relatively stable for many years, it has recently seen a large growth spurt in population. Still, it remains a quiet place where residents can enjoy a laid back lifestyle.

The Amenities You’ll Find Within St. Davids

As previously mentioned, this community is home to the 4-year liberal arts college, Eastern University.
